After learning my college did not have a yearbook, I decided to make my own personalized "yearbook" out of instant photos. The Yearbook Project (2017) is an ongoing project, with 190+ photos and counting. It is my goal that each image represents the unique personalities of the individuals who have made an impact on my life.
I set two rules for myself:
1. I only allow myself one photo per person, so I have to make it count.
2. The photo cannot be planned ahead of time, but instead taken at a moment that I want to remember.
The Yearbook Project has expanded into my post-grad life. The photographs will also be bound into a notebook with the names of each person and notes of our shared experiences.
